TRIM LEVELS (EXTERIOR)

The 2020 Cadillac CT5 is available in three trim levels: LUXURY, PREMIUM LUXURY, and SPORT. With a wheelbase 2 inches longer than that of the CTS, the CT5 has unique proportions and looks. Its appearance is sloped and sporty, allowing it to hug the road. The CT5 also bears quite a bit of "bling" in the form of accent pieces, LED lights, a fabulous mesh grille, and optional exhaust tips. The paint colors are dark jewel tones, giving the CT5 a superbly rich look.

ENGINE (POWER)

All of the 2020 CT5's trims boast a powerful yet fuel-efficient turbocharged 2.0-liter, four-cylinder engine that puts out an incredible 237 horsepower. This is a major upgrade from the thirsty 5.6-liter, 640 horsepower engine of the CTS. Despite the smaller engine size, the turbocharged power under the hood of the CT5 will not disappoint you in takeoff and acceleration. The PREMIUM LUXURY and SPORT trim levels also offer a 335-horsepower, 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged V-6. Another impressive upgrade to both engine options is the cylinder deactivation and start/stop systems that give the CT5 an edge in the mileage market.

Performance

Cadillac didn't skimp on the 2020 CT5's transmission. Both engine options come paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission that shifts so effortlessly you won't notice it doing its job. All three trim levels come standard with rear-wheel drive, but all-wheel drive is available.

Interior

Cadillac pulled out all the stops in designing the 2020 CT5's interior, which comes standard with impressive luxury features. One of the most desirable features across all trim levels is the legroom. Especially outstanding is the increased legroom in the back seat, allowing comfortable seating for three adults. Standard features on all trim levels include Cadillac's own CUE infotainment system, which is elegantly controlled by either a rotary wheel next to the gearshift or by using the large, 10-inch touch screen. The CT5 also includes Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as standard features. Once you get into optional features, the list seems limitless. From wireless charging to a premium Bose audio system to Cadillac's new Super Cruise, you can equip your 2020 CT5 with whatever level of luxury you desire.

SAFETY FEATURES

As you would expect from Cadillac, the CT5 offers the highest level of standard and optional safety features. Some standard features include systems such as forward collision warning and pedestrian detection. Optional features include cutting-edge technology such as Super Cruise driver-assistance, which is basically autopilot for automobiles. The CT5 is not only one of the sportiest sedans on the market but also one of the safest.
